Edson Duarte, singer, composer, and percussionist, has an extensive biography. At 13 he began playing the pandeiro and singing. At 18 he met Luiz Gonzaga, Trio Nordestino, Jackson do Pandeiro, Ary Lobo, and Noca do Acordeon and began playing with these forró icons.

Unfortunately we lost this great master in the first week of February 2022. Our desire is to perpetuate his music and place him in the pantheon of the great masters of music in the world. Edson, as far as it depends on us, you will always be respected. Rest in peace.
